Introduction

Canada's Wonderland is a theme park located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The park has more than 200 attractions, 65 rides, and 16 roller coasters. It is the country's most popular summertime destination, and it welcomed more than four million visitors in 2017.

Canada's Wonderland first opened in 1981 under the Taft Broadcasting Company. It has been owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company since then. Out of all the Cedar Fair parks, Canada's Wonderland is only one of two that are not situated in the United States; the other is Valleyfair located in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Hours and Admission

Hours of Operation:
Summer hours are from 10am to 8pm.
The hours for the May long weekend to June 27th are 10am to 7pm.
June 28th to September 7th: 10am - 8pm
September 8 - October 31: 10am - 7pm
The museum will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays in September and October, with the exception of Labour Day Monday.
Prices for Admission:
Adults (13 years and older): $57.99 + tax
Adults 60 years and older: $47.99+ tax
Children (3-12 years old): $47.99 + tax

Rides

Looking for some family fun? Canada's Wonderland is the place to be! With thrilling coasters and rides for the kids, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

There are more than 200 rides, shows and attractions at Canada's Wonderland, including 16 rollercoasters! Show off your bravery on Leviathan, Canada's tallest and fastest rollercoaster, or get soaked on Tumblr as you freefall through an 80 foot pool! For a more traditional experience, take a ride in a classic wooden canoe on Le Voyageur or enjoy the views of the park from 102 metres in the air on Swing of the Century.

Don't miss out on Wonder Mountain's Guardian, an indoor/outdoor thrill ride that takes you on a 4 minute journey filled with jaw dropping drops, twists and turns. Or take the little ones to Dragon Foam City where they can explore, play and create their own miniature world.

Roller Coasters

No good theme park is complete without roller coasters, and Canada's Wonderland is certainly no exception. With over a dozen pulse-pounding rides, there's fun for everyone. If you're searching for the biggest thrill, look no further than Leviathan - the tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster in Canada. Woodstock Express is more geared towards families. And if you're feeling brave, try Edgewalker - a walk along the edge of the main observation deck 150 feet in the air!

The Great Canadianipper Thrill ride is sure to get your heart pumping!

The Great Canadianipper Thrill Ride is the tallest, fastest and longest wooden coaster in Canada. Riders will experience a 122 foot drop at 65 km/h at the start of the ride. Then, they will go over 5 more huge hills, banked turns and spirals. With a total track length of 5,835 feet, this is one huge wooden coaster thrill ride!

Wonderland has a diverse range of dining choices to please every palate. From relaxed counter service to formal sit-down restaurants, we have it all.

Counter Service: McDonald's, A&W, Booster Juice, Daily Grill, New York Fries, Subway, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons.

Sit-down restaurants include Carousel Family Restaurant, Legends Restaurant, and Paradise Ranch.

Shopping

Canada's Wonderland is world-famous for its exhilarating rides, water park, and live entertainment. The park has a wide range of shopping experiences to fit every taste and budget. Whether you're looking for souvenirs or high-end designer items, there's something for everyone at Canada's Wonderland.

Most of the shops are situated in Front Street in the park. You can find anything from candy stores to toy shops here. There are also a few places where you can buy souvenirs, such as t-shirts, hats, and keychains. If you want something more original, there are also art galleries and jewelry stores.

If you're looking to do some serious shopping, Canada's Wonderland also has a number of high-end boutiques. These stores offer designer clothes, handbags, and jewelry. They are typically located in the upper levels of the park near the rides and attractions.

There are a variety of hotels near Canada's Wonderland to suit every budget. For those who want to be close to the park, the Park Inn & Suites by Radisson, Toronto Vaughan is just a 10-minute drive away. The hotel offers free parking and an outdoor heated pool.
